Just hearing Toji's voice again fills him with rage. He hates that guy so much.

And even though Satoru had lived, it's hard to watch, and to remember the moment when he'd believed him to be dead. ]

[ Oh, he's just extremely annoyed to see Toji again. There's no shame in seeing his failure... He was humbled, then rose from that. He's almost one hair away from being grateful for the encounter. It helped him reach enlightenment and keep claim of the title of strongest.

So of course he rolls his eyes when he sees Toji stab him, startled when Suguru draws him back in. His first reaction is "what's with you?" but... After a moment of thinking some more he understands. ]
