Laudna seemed to think that Camille killed Cloud at trial.

But to be honest, I don't really know. I didn't examine either of them [ he's a boy ] so I wasn't sure what it was that they saw that connected them to Iwatooshi and Cloud.

The monster's usually the one driving. Sometimes you can draw the person out.... for a short time.

I don't want to. [ it's the monster inside killing, not the person. so in a way, they're victims too ] But everytime I ask the overseers, they always say, the only way to stop them is to kill them.

But if we kill her, and it's not public, then we get put on trial, don't we?

Yeah. That being said.... the overseers always say how many monsters are involved, so... dunno. Most people would focus on that, I think.

But yeah, they'd execute me. But if the alternative is that a monster goes and kills again, what am I supposed to do?

I'm not saying it's not the right thing to do. I think just it's important to consider the consequences. You're likely not the only one thinking about killing her.

There's options. Even if the monster possession can't be cured, maybe she can be locked up in one of the Overseer's barriers. We can figure it out.
