Nothing specific. But I brainstormed potentials and this wasn't one of them. I don't see the point of it.

Sometimes in occult movies emotions have an impact on the energy you get from a sacrifice. Maybe the point is to make us miserable.

I mean, the whole... running when we saw them only to come back later. It was silly. [ even though he would probably do the same thing. sometimes a guy loves an entrance. ] Not to mention, it's risky for them to tell forty strangers that they're betraying the cult.

I meant more that they told any of us at all. What if we found a way to broker a deal with the other cultists to save our own skin by trading in the traitors?

That's the right thing to do.

I believe they're telling us the truth, but it isn't like I have blind trust in them now. We need to always be assessing whether we still believe them or not.

From what I've heard, even if I wanted to it might be hard. Most people have settled on it being too dangerous.

That doesn't surprise me when we know so little about each other, and the people who gave us the information.

It'd be easier if we knew what the reward is.

Right. The power upgrade is too vague.

I'm surprised people aren't more tempted by the wish part, though.

We all want out of here, so we'll all work towards that. Strength in numbers.

So even if someone didn't care what happens to the rest of us, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot.
