anyway, geto gets her actively looking for him, and when she finds him, she really absolutely tries her best to hug him and just. fails, because she's slightly transparent and very cold and ghosty.]

Geto's own arms go out to welcome her, bracing himself for her familiar embrace but... she passes through him! He shivers. ]

... I should've expected that.

[she does not like NOT BEING ABLE TO TOUCH. this is torture!!!

she looks a little upset, but - she rallies fast enough turning to like fake-hold onto his arm. he just gets the cold sensation, but she's trying.]

Ugh. Awful. [a beat.] Hey, though, hello. I missed you.

[turbulency]

[ It's kind of weird, but her efforts get a little smile out of him, though his expression mostly carries concern. ]

Are you okay?

[ablazement]

Yeah. I'm okay. My heart's still here, and I still exist.

[he can probably see there's no glow to her chest anymore, just like before, though there is a large burn scar there that wasn't there the last time he saw her.]

I'm doing a lot better than I was.

[turbulency]

[ He smiles a little, wry. ]

Seems like it's much nicer to die than live around here.

See, this is why I'm glad we're allowed to see you, right, because that's the saddest thing I've ever heard.

Huh? [ He squints. ] You're the ones sending all the letters about dying.

I know, but - it's still sad. Nobody should think it's better to die than to live.
