I was told by someone yesterday that the same ritual will repeat, with someone becoming affected by their monster starting today. I wanted to know if there were signs we could look for.

It was difficult enough to figure out how to escape the summoning ritual, and now we have to deal with this distraction too. We'll need to be smart.

We've got our work cut out for us, that's for certain. But I think most of us are used to dire circumstances.

Which is why those items that popped up might work to tempt some of us.

People would be very stupid to trust in a powerful gift from the cult that wants to kill us all.

[but she doesn't sound like she's counting out anyone being that stupid, either.]

They might be. If they're very stupid.

No. Too convenient. Besides, in my experience, it's never a smart idea to do what the dominant group who wants you dead asks you to do.

It's not a bad thing to keep our conversations in mind as we go forward. I wouldn't be upset if anyone else was doing the same.
