In a sense, yes.
In another sense, not at all. But it is ... being dealt with, in a way. I personally have no intention of turning into a Mindflayer. It seems terribly unpleasant.

There is an ... erm, artifact, of sorts that prevents it from progressing, and allows our minds to remain independent of the Elder Brain.
And at least here, it doesn't seem active.
