[ Behavior wise, Satoru seems fine, though he keeps looking around every once in a while... Paranoid. Sometimes fidgets more if it's kicking his leg back and forth or tapping his foot. ]
Blood feels like it's burning.
[ Fluffy tail lashes back and forth. ]
This is the only thing that's comfortable. The tail gets in the way.
I wouldn't touch—[ It's too late. Suguru has touched a lot now and while it may be nice to touch an animal ear, he's hit with the sensation of burning blood running through his veins...
And a madness, a thirst for blood, the thrill of battle. There's a taste for power... It's almost animalistic in how it works down one's sanity, corroding it to instinct and impulses. The blood roars, louder and louder the longer they keep touch. ]
Yeah, try to keep your hands to yourself. I think I was a monster hunter in a city that was plagued by monsters.
[ But Suguru takes his hands and yeah he's hit with the boiling angry blood... then there's this insistent paranoia of something here, unseen, watching them. It festers and blooms the longer he keeps hold, working into his nerves and poisoning his mind. They can die any time. It's out there. They can die at any time...
[ Great, he doesn't like it, and will let go of Satoru's hands.
He'll leave Satoru on the bed so that he can raid the closet of this person's house whom they invaded, trying to find something else for him to wear. ]
Did you turn into a monster? What's the deal with you and Vin?
Yeah. I didn't know at first, but it seemed like while blood gave hunters strength and power, it was also turning them into monsters. [ Thinks about it. ] I had the most of it, so I turned during the last battle.
[ Thanks for the new peasant gown. It isn't too his taste, but it's better than the dressed riddled in tears and holes. I don't know how closely Suguru is going to watch him as he changes, though. A lot of it is healed enough, can reopen, and some are scars... Lightened bruises.
His lips press into a thin line as he looks at some spot on the wall, but almost instantly looks at the ground instead, tail lowly lashing with frustration.
[ He is looking, jaw tight as he takes in the injuries. He doesn't like the last memory he has of Satoru being so heavily injured.
The silence answers his question, and he busies himself with gathering up the torn dress since he can't touch Satoru and isn't sure what to do with his hands. ]
It'll pass in a couple of days. [ He remembers his own lingering effects. ] Tell me more about what happened.
When you turned into a monster... Did you attack the other hunters?
[ I see... He has laceration scars all over with very shallow and mostly healed scrapes and cuts here and there. The bruises are darkest on his back and forearms, but there are other bruises scattered around.
There are some gouges that are closing, about five of them, and by their size and where they are on the body it may be large claws. There are weird punctures that have fortunately healed lining his lower torso, about waist length, and match his back... Like getting chomped.
There are also stretch scarring on his limbs, pretty light.
Dress on!!! ]
I didn't. I was sane enough to focus on the monster... It was some kind of spider made of souls, or maybe that's an illusion of its body.
I think everything we did could have been part of the dream is weaved.
[ A spider web. ]
It was difficult to look at. Pretty sure it made Nona's eyes bleed. Mine, too, but I turned into a monster when the three of them forcefed me the red pills we had.
[ That makes sense. He also saw a bunch of people on his little adventure, and it was all probably an illusion. Walking over to the bed, he will start wrapping the blankets around Satoru... Not tucking him in though. Kind of like he's turning him into a burrito. ]
I think so... We were in this strange contract where when we died, we would revive—it was Erin, Nona, Vin, and I.
We died to a monster that was hanging up in the cathedral we were checking out, woke up in the city of Yharnam, then looked for shelter for the night since that's when the monsters come out.
We collected survivors, too... Mathis, Rondo, some others from the city, and Amanai.
[ As he talks about this, he stares at the wall like there's something there. ]
[ Once he is burrito'd, he'll get onto the bed and sit next to him, setting a hand on the blanket wrapped around his shoulder trying to see if the contact is okay with all the blanket between them. ]
So you were a monster hunter, investigated a cathedral, died, and then had to survive in Yharnam until the last battle against the spider?
Yeah... We went to the cathedral ward because—I guess monsters. Amanai told me Kuroi went there to get anti-monster incense and she wouldn't go to our shelter without her, so we went.
You were there.
And we died again.
[ The touch is fine. He can touch him with all this fabric on I guess?? ]

Tired! The hunt took so long... And it was hard to get any sleep in that place.
no subject
How long were you there? What about your injuries?
no subject
[ He's not bleeding anymore, no. It seems his eyes have always been okay... He took a shower!
But decided he will wear the bloody tattered dress. ]
Swamp healed me while giving me an awful effect.

Puts a hand on his jaw so that he can watch his expression. ]
What's the effect?
[ ... ]
You don't have to keep wearing this dress.

I can get you a dress that isn't torn up and bloody.

... Satoru. What happened to you?
[ Can he take his hands without the bloodlust rising. ]

I just don't like her.

His expression is still slightly pinched, relieved that Satoru is relatively healed, but irritated that his mind is being played with. ]
Are you still craving it? Blood?

His lips press into a thin line as he looks at some spot on the wall, but almost instantly looks at the ground instead, tail lowly lashing with frustration.
HE DOESNT WANT BLOOD (he does want blood). ]

There were a bunch of people there. Nona, Erin, Lavi, Rondo, Mathis, You...
Which one was real, I think only Vin was.

Oh. Probably to manipulate you two.
Why were they forcefeeding you a pill?

You can close your eyes. You don't have to see them.

What if it's like that here? What if everything is hidden? It could all an illusion. If I close my eyes, then I won't be able to see the truth...

Did you defeat the spider, in the end?
[ Squeezes his burrito. ]
no subject
He's squeezed. ]
... Yeah, we did. Then there was a place with weird stuff and we took some things.
[ ... ]
It really wasn't you there.
